In a move to strengthen the unity and structure of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, the Membership Registration Committee was officially inaugurated by the President-General. Following the inauguration, the President-General extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Chairman of the Committee, Nze Ozichukwu Fidelis Chukwu KSM KSS, recognizing his leadership and commitment to the Igbo cause.

During the event, the President-General emphasized the importance of the membership registration process in fostering inclusivity and ensuring that every Igbo son and daughter has a platform to actively participate in the affairs of Ohanaeze Ndigbo.

“This committee plays a crucial role in strengthening the foundation of our great organization. With Nze Ozichukwu Fidelis Chukwu at the helm, I have no doubt that we will achieve a seamless and transparent registration process,” he stated.

In his response, Nze Ozichukwu Fidelis Chukwu expressed gratitude for the confidence reposed in him and assured the leadership and members of Ohanaeze Ndigbo that the committee would work diligently to achieve its mandate. He called on all Igbo sons and daughters, both at home and in the diaspora, to take advantage of the registration exercise to become fully involved in the affairs of Ohanaeze Ndigbo.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by prominent Igbo leaders, stakeholders, and well-wishers, who all pledged their support towards the success of the registration exercise.
