Ohanaeze Ndigbo is committed to fostering the unity, progress, and development of the Igbo people. As the apex socio-cultural organization representing the interests of Ndigbo worldwide, our mission is guided by the following key objectives and goals:
Preserve and promote Igbo language, ensuring it is spoken and taught in schools. Organize cultural festivals, exhibitions, and traditional events that celebrate Igbo heritage. Support Igbo arts, literature, and storytelling to keep traditions alive for future generations.

Promotion of Igbo Culture, Language, and Traditions

Represent Igbo interests at the national and international levels, ensuring their voices are heard in political, economic, and social matters. Promote equity, justice, and fair representation of Ndigbo in Nigeria’s governance and decision-making processes.

Advocacy for Igbo Rights and Interests

Encourage entrepreneurship and investment within Igbo communities. Facilitate access to business mentorship, funding opportunities, and market expansion for Igbo-owned enterprises. Promote partnerships that strengthen economic cooperation among Igbo people locally and in the diaspora.
